Phuong Nam Hotel Hoian and Villa, Hoi An, Vietnam

The Phuong Nam Hotel Hoian and Villa is an affordable boutique hotel located in the historic town of Hoi An in Vietnam. Aside from its cheap rates, backpackers will appreciate its proximity to popular local sites, such as An Bang beach, the city center, Tra Que organic vegetable village, and Japanese trader tombs. The hotel is about a 40-minute car ride away from the Danang International Airport and Danang Railway Station.

The hotel has a total of 34 guest rooms, of which there are four types: the superior room, deluxe room, family room deluxe, and special deluxe room. All rooms offer a view of either the city, green fields, and swimming pool. Each room includes modern amenities for guests’ comfort. These include an individually controlled air conditioner, satellite TV, safety locker, mini bar, IDD telephone, coffe/tea making equipment, work/dressing table, en suite bathroom with bathtub or shower, and hot and cold shower.
All rooms, except for the superior rooms, come with fringe benefits such as daily free breakfast buffet, free Internet (ADSL and WiFi), DVD player, and daily complimentary mineral water and fresh fruit basket. Guests who book these rooms can also use the hotel’s swimming pool for free and avail themselves of the shuttle bus service to the town and beach, also at no charge (though the hotel also offers paid tours to locations such as Cham Island). The rates for these rooms already include the government tax and service charge.

Local specialties, as well as Asian and Western food are served at the Phuong Nam Hotel’s on-site restaurant, which is capable of seating 100 people and which is open from 6 AM to 9 PM.
