The Beijing Jade International Youth Hostel is China is only a five-minute walk to the Wangfujing shopping area and it is close to well-known tourist attractions, such as the Tian’anmen Square and the Forbidden City.

Its least expensive beds are priced at 70 yuan per bed for the eight-bed dormitories, not including breakfast. The various kinds of accommodations include: the suite room, the twin private room with its own bathroom, the twin private room that uses a common bathroom, the four-bed dormitories, and the eight-bed dormitories.

The hostel provides various services, including: Internet access, secure storage of luggage, laundry services, a coffee bar, travel information, a mini-stop, bicycle rental, and cable and satellite television.

For travelers arriving by subway train, they are advised to alight at the Tian’anmen Square Station, take Bus Number 2 to the Fuchanyiyuan Maternity Hospital and then cross the street until they find the Jade Youth Hostel sign. They can also take Bus Number 103 or Number 104 to Dengshixikou and then walk for a block westwards towards the traffic light at Beiheyuan Daijie, and then continue walking west along the alley until they reach the hostel. Those arriving by train are advised to take Bus No. 52 to the Tian’anmen Square and then take Bus Number 2 to Fuchanyiyuan. Those arriving by airplane can take the shuttle bus to Xidan and then cross Chang’an Avenue to take Bus No. 52 to Tian’anmen Square and then Bus Number 2 to Fuchanyiyuan.
